The story behind Northumbrian Beach Finds
I love to walk and beachcomb along the stunning coastline here in North Northumberland where I now live. I like to find bits and pieces on these walks, something different catching my eye, which I can then use as reference for and inspiration and in my paintings.
This selection came out of my pocket after one beach walk, and rather than use them as background in another painting, I just had to paint them individually allowing their own beauty to shine out and take centre stage.
