The story behind “Mr. Tom” Blue Tit
I have some bird nesting boxes on the gable end of my art studio, and I am lucky enough to have blue tits, among other birds, using them for breeding.
I have the perfect viewing point from inside my studio, and I get to watch the blue tits perching nearby, carefully watching to make sure they are safe to enter, before they fly into the box to feed their young and keep it clean. The ensuing commotion always makes me smile, as I imagine the scene inside that little box.
