The story behind Whisper the Barn Owl
Owls are fascinating creatures not often seen close up, so when I got the chance to meet Whisper at a local bird of prey centre I jumped at the opportunity. It was a magnificent bird in so many ways, with layer upon layer of feathers and patterns. The biggest surprise came when it sat on my gloved hand. I was expecting a weighty bird as it looked so solid, but infact it was literally light as a feather.

This original piece of artwork is framed and ready to hang.
