The story behind Neil the Baby Grey Seal
I think there isn't much that is cuter than a baby seal, and just off the Northumberland coastline there is one of the UK's largest colonies of Grey Seals. They breed during autumn and  the rocks around the Farne Islands become littered with these gorgeous balls of seal fluff! I just had to fill my whole painting with seal pup fur and eyes. Bliss.
