The story behind Dozy Daisy Doormouse
The dormouse is the only British mouse to have a furry tail, and it seems the ideal thing to wrap itself in to keep warm whilst it hibernates through the long cold winters. This dormouse is snuggled in a nest of grasses, and I imagine it dreaming of warmer days to come.
